WoW Server Rules

1. Respect GMs. Abide by their direction, as requested from time to time.

2. Respect other members. Just being kind and helpful to new and old members may make your experience on this server much more fun and enjoyable.

3. Inappropriate behaviour or derogatory comments are not permitted.

This includes ALL local chat and KoRworld chat.

The Korworld chat channel is the general chat channel on the server and DOES have a language restriction. Considering that our members consist of young people, the Korworld chat has been made a "G" rated channel. We request that there be no use of inappropriate language or offensive comments made in this channel. If a GM deems a sentence rude of offensive, or the context of which normally non offensive used are used. Eg. "Come and suck on my balls", a simple mute will be handed out but continiously abusing this will result in a ban. Replacing letters in words with other characters to try and avoid the G rated setting will result in a longer mute. Once again for members that deem this rule stupid, there is another general chat channel called HardKoR with no language restriction. However, we would like to notify members that racial vilification or discrimination IS NOT PERMITTED IN ALL CHAT CHANNELS and the admin board has a zero tolerance policy towards this type of behaviour.

Rest assured, there will be game masters superivising, monitoring and moderating chats.

On a side note, if you are offended by offensive language we advise you use the in built chat filter provided in the game. If you believe an unacceptable comment has been directed at you then screen cap the incident and report it to an admin.

4. Continual harassment of members is not acceptable. This can include persistent verbal abuse. This is a PvP enabled server therefore if you chose 2 flag yourself for PvP your are free game, however constant harassment (in excessive amounts) on a single player can be acted upon by contacting a GM. This also applies to constant verbal abuse.

5. Begging for gold and / or items is not permitted and ALL funds on that account will be removed.

6. Spamming of unsolicited group invites is not permitted. Please get approval in chat prior to sending group invites.

7. Abusing Line of Sight (LoS) especially in Arena's & Battle Grounds is not permitted. You will be warned, and then banned for a time of 24hrs if you disregard the warning.

8. Spamming is not permitted in open chat. Specific BG "Intelligence Chat" is defined as game play, and is permitted. However, unrelated and unnecessary spamming in BGs is not permitted.

9. The use of "Hacks" or "Scripts" is forbidden, ignoring this rule will result in a instant ban.

10. Abusing of Bugs is not permitted. This also includes bugged quests and the continuous use of known bugged spells in PvP.

11. Posting of inappropriate external links is forbidden.

12. Posting / advertising of other sites strictly requires permission from KoR Admin.

13. "Multi boxing" is not permitted in either BGs or Arena.

14. Intentional "farming" of Honor or Arena points, by "artificial means*" is not permitted. "Artificial means*" ie Using characters (that are in a afk like state, nude, or any similar attempt to pervert the spirit of the rules etc) to be repeatedly killed for the express benefit of the killer. Anyone caught will have all of their gear removed, no warnings. This rule is not to be enforced in battlegrounds unless graveyard camping is occuring. If someone is tunneling another character despite how it maybe unethical, it is not against the rules within a battleground. (eg. Horde 1 consistantly targets and only attacks Alliance1 for the easier kill. This happens in all battlegrounds by all players. Again although unethical it is NOT against the rules.)

15. Extended game play and anti social behaviour, not considered in the best interests of KoR and its community, may evoke action by KoR Admin to correct.

16. Team swapping to get on a desired team in BG's is not permitted. Offending players will be warned once and if swapping continues further, penalties will apply at GM discretion.

Failure to abide by the above rules could result in the following actions; (order determined by GM involved)

# Warning.

# Muting.

# Kicking.

# Temporary Ban.

# Permanent Ban.

# Adjusting statistics.

# Removal of items.

# Use of GM Commands etc

Following any actions, GMs are required to report on the incident and
actions.

Web Site Rules:

1. Respect other members and legitimate different points of view.

4. Trolling is only permitted in the "Other" Section of Forum.

5. Spamming is not permitted.

6. Posting of inappropriate material is forbidden.

7. Posting of inappropriate external links is forbidden.

8. No more than two forum signatures allowed. Combined total not to exceed 500 by 250 pixels.

9. Signatures or avatars are not permitted to contain inappropriate material.

Failure to abide by the Forum Rules could result in the following actions;

# Editing / removal of posts.

# Warning.

# Temporary Ban from Forum.

# Permanent Ban from Forum.

# Temporary Ban from Server.

# Permanent Ban from Server.

GM Rules:

1. Respect members and legitimate differing points of view.

2. Harassment of members is not permitted.

3. Commands are only to be used in a responsable manner and equitable manner.

4. Tele should only be used on consentual members. Its use should be limited to assisting in the running of events,

specific rewards, bug investigation and the like. It is not a taxi service.

5. Morphing, incapacitating, similar auras and powers should only be used on consenting members.

6. Specific editing of permanent statistics will only be carried out to correct data, or for advertised rewards for donations, events, and the like. They require approval from the Server Owner or Aministration Leader.

7. GMs are not permitted to use their abilities to power level members.

8. .learn is only to be used on members to correct bugs, unless otherwise approved.

9. GMs do not levelup members other than for approved donations / rewards as required and advertised.

10. In general, GMs are not to give/donate money or items etc to members. This can include use of AH and extremely imbalanced trades etc. Ask if in doubt.

11. GM's can level themselves etc.

12. No use of spells in PvP, BGs, Duels, Arena that are not available to all players through normal gameplay, unless approved by ALL parties. GM's are to be no more than a player in respect to Raids and Instances (unless overcoming the issue of a bug), if this is breached in ANY manner, severe punishments will be applied, breaches can be from .mod to gm spells.

Notes:

# If a GM accidentally or otheriwise contravene the above rules,or observe
other GMs doing so, they are required to immediately report the incident
to the Server Owner or Admin Leader.

# Some situations (Hackers, extreme rule breaking, investigating) may require
some of the above rules, to be temporarily put aside. Immediately report the
incident to the Server Owner or Admin Leader.

# Please remember GMs are volunteers and do this to assist the KoR Community!
They do have lives/jobs/schooling and can't always be on!
They also like to play ordinary characters, fight in BG's, Arenas. Duels
and Events, so they don't always display their tags.

General Advice for Members:

1. If you are being harassed by someone, please ask them to stop. If it
continues, please screen cap it and contact a GM. Please note this is a
PVP Server and at times you may be killed. This does not
generally consitute harassment! If your issue concerns what is being said
in chat,please also consider using the IGNORE function.


3. If you witness something that needs investigation, please screen cap it and
contact a GM. Please also detail any other relevent information. Your
information shall be treated as confidential if requested. Those requests
should be forwarded either to the Server Owner, or Admin Leader.

4. GMs can be found in game by one of the following methods;

a.Typing in chat .gm ingame

b.Typing in korworld Chat Channels asking if a GM is on line to
respond to an issue.

c. Log into Website Forum Page, find the Game Masters Link and send a pm to
a GM, Rattis, Numnut or darkangel

d. Send email to admin@korgaming.com

e. Raise a ticket ingame.
